This year for many people is the year of the staycation – with all sorts of problems with foreign travel at the moment due to the pandemic, staying in the UK feels like a safer bet. The Westbury White Horse – This is a landmark in Wiltshire, a huge white horse carved into the hillside. As well as the views to the white horse it is only a short walk to an Iron age fort, Bratton Camp.
The West Wiltshire Downs – This is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and you will be able to see views over the beautiful countryside, as well as pretty villages where time has stood still.
Shearwater Lake – Head to the gorgeous Longleat estate and take a walk around the tranquil and beautiful Shearwater lake.
