A Game of Plumbing in the North

Lifestyle

After the shocking debacle of the end of Game of Thrones last year the effects are still being felt. How could the producers get it so very wrong? Why did they ignore so many plot lines and then blow the scenes that they had been building the story up to? Ahh well not to worry, it’s all too late now. One thing that got me annoyed was why they didn’t make more of Winterfell’s much vaunted central heating system. A spot of hot water might have annoyed the Winter King and his minions a fair bit. What hot water system I hear you ask? Allow me to explain.

Winter is coming is the Starks motto and it seems that Ned, Robb, Arya, Sansa, Bran and Rickon plus Jon’s (sort of) ancestors were in no mood to suffer it. Perhaps it was on the blink and they should have called the extremely capable Gloucester Plumber at http://www.hprservicesltd.com/emergency-plumber-gloucester/ to sort it out (not that they are set up for Raven).

In the book Winterfell is built over a stream heated by a hot water spring. This explains why it’s not somewhere useful like on a Hill or up a mountain like the The Eyrie which would have been beter when faced with the horde of the white walkers..
