Plastering – A pool will need to be replastered every so often. There are many reasons for this – mineral stains can look unsightly and only get worse with age so if you are seeing these then it could be time to Visit Pure Plasterers a Plasterer Gloucester who will be able to put it right for you. It may also be something that you notice when swimming – if you are getting scratches or tears then this means that the plaster is chipping off and needs to be replaced.

Cleaning – Something that should be done much more frequently than plastering is the cleaning of the pool. Things like cleaning the filters and checking the balance of chemicals in the water (correcting if necessary) should be done on a weekly basis to keep your pool hygienic as well as extending its lifespan.

Care in the Winter – As the pool will not be likely to get a lot of use in the winter it will need to be protected during this time period. Make sure that you have suitable covers for the pool, and that you regularly check on it and keep it clean to ensure that you don’t have any algae growing in there.
