Getting through Airport Security quickly

Technology

If you’ve ever travelled abroad on a foreign holiday and flown from either your local Airport or out of either of London’s Gatwick and Heathrow Terminals, you will know all the hassle that can be associated with checking in your suitcases and getting through all the security checks!  There are several things to remember before even attempting to walk through the strong security presence that is installed at all airports.  Bottles of water or liquid over 3 ounces are NOT permitted, make sure to remove any belts, hats and shoes as well as take any loose change or mobile phones out of your pockets.  You are provided with a tray to deposit all your items onto including a laptop if you are carrying one.

Before you can proceed to this point of the departure procedure you have to check your suitcases in to have them weighed and an airport Security Seal placed around the handle as well as a printed destination label.  You can lock your own personal Security Seal  onto your Suitcase to make sure it’s not tampered with and these are provided from companies such as https://acmeseals.co.uk/.

Once you’ve checked in your suitcases and had your carry-on bags scanned, you walk through a body scanning machine and as long as you’ve remembered to take everything off your supposed to, you will sail straight through.  Now all that’s left to do is put your belt, shoes and hat back on, put your mobile phone and loose change back in your pockets and you’re free to go on through to the departure lounge and wait for your flight.
