The green and pleasant Cotswolds is a sight to behold

Travel

If you are thinking of taking a holiday in the UK this year then the Cotswolds is certainly a place to consider. There is so much to see and do there. Not only is it a designated area of outstanding natural beauty, with some of the most breathtaking rural landscapes and walks, it also offers history and heritage, a Zoo and even the chance to go swimming at an artificial beach.

There is little finer feeling to be had when sitting down to a Sunday Lunch Cotswolds style, a roaring fire in the hearth and a view across green fields and trees for as far as the eye can see.  To start with, a trip to https://www.cotswoldlife.co.uk/home/8-cotswold-pubs-to-find-a-sunday-roast-dinner-1-6393637 is a great place to start.

The area offers the Cotswold Way, a route from the centre of Bath in the South to Chipping Camden in the North. There are incredible market towns with boutique shops and coffee shops such as Cirencester, the agreed capital of the region, Tetbury, with its royal connections of Highgrove up the road and Wotton Under Edge.

There are 5 amazing National Trust properties to visit. These are Chedworth Roman Villa, Snowshill Manor, Chastleton House, Rodborough Common and Newark Park. We are only scratching the surface.
